Hello to everyone in this huge community,
We are 9 months into ownership of our crystal white 2017 BRZ Performance Pack, 2nd hand, 30,000km. The twins have been under my skin since their release and we are just tickled pink with this car. Glad we waited. Replaced the Michellins for some stickier Yokohamas, and that is exactly where the mods will end! lol Well aware of the slippery slope once mods start. It's such a tactile, frisky, loveable little thing to drive. What a breath of fresh air.

Yeah I was sure as soon as my warranty was up I would be turbo or supercharged. I am over 50k miles (80k km) and the only thing not stock is my oil filter and Anti-Gravity (brand name) Li-Ion battery. The car is just so fun by itself I haven't felt the need to tear it apart. It is my daily driver though even though I have 3 cars.

Good to see another Melburnian join the forum. Best to drive it stock for a while anyway, I have a few STI parts on mine to give it an OEM+ feel. But didn’t change anything until I owned mine for about 4 years. But stock is still fun too. Guessing you’re not doing much driving during the lockdown here.

Hi everybody! I'm pretty new on here but happy to be a part of the group! I have a 2019 BRZ Limited in Dark Grey Metallic and I've already put an HKS Hi-Power catback on

New 2020 BRZ!

Hey all, just bought a 2020 BRZ in Magnetite Grey. It has the Performance Package and I'm having the short throw shifter and HomeLink rear view mirror added by the dealer. My first (and probably only) brand new car!

I got the car bug when I bought a used 2006 BMW 330xi in 2012. I traded it in a couple years ago towards a used Ford Ranger. (I had a pickup before and missed being able to go get stuff you can't put in a sedan.) I missed having a car to zip around in so I started looking into fun cars that wouldn't break the bank. Decided on the BRZ and so far (5 days in) I'm loving it!

More to follow!

No pictures yet as my baby hasn't arrived yet. 2020 Pearl Blue Metallic 6MT BRZ arrives this week. May end up regretting not holding out for the performance package but I have satisfied myself that I can do all of that later if that's what I really want.

I will probably have to ask a specific question in the general forum, but my first three mods are going to be center armrest, side marker smoking, and caliper painting.

I have no really good leads on the armrest issue - can anyone confirm whether or not options available on the Internet for 2013 - 2018 will work for 2020??? If so, there is a red leather stitched idea that looks pretty good.

As for side marker smoking, I am leaning towards spray on and for the calipers, since they are not being updated, I am leaning towards body color. I am open to any suggestions here.

FYI, similar to above, I am coming from a 2007 BMW 335i 6MT which I put 225,000 on. I am excited about the change, although I am sure I will miss the turbo push (particularly in low gears) although I do have plans to solve that issue in the near future. : ) By the way, any suggestions on that end are gratefully accepted as well.

The center console area has not changed since the cars birth I believe, so fitment should be identical.

Thanks for the info. Yes, I was planning on searching and will spend, I am sure, an inordinate amount of time researching turbo options and ideas before actually pulling the plug. I was just asking a few basics to start in hoping to get some helpful info from the get go from someone like yourself.

Hi everyone! New to the forums though I signed up ages ago. I had a 2014 FR-S from 2016-2019 but had to sell it due to financial hardship. A couple weeks ago I saw a 2017 BRZ come onto the lot at a local dealership and it was in such great condition I had to jump on it. Only 32,000 km on it, no accidents, only one glass replacement (done by the dealership when they got it in; it had just finished fully curing when I stopped by for a test drive.)

It's so nice to be driving one of these again. The 2017 feels a lot better to drive overall than the 2014 did, as well.

Hey Dirty Harry, funny you should turn up , just finished watching Clint in his 3 spaghetti Westerns (Fistful of Dollars, A Few Dollars More and The Good, The Bad and The Ugly) a bit of lockdown cinematic education. No not driving much at all currently, which will make those first few long drives rather special. Winton on the cards asap.

Hi, what's up everyone. I picked up a 2018 BRZ back in April. I used this forum extensively before deciding to go with the BRZ. I have no plans to mod the car in the near future. Maybe next year. The plan is to hit some track days and have some fun. First one is next week. Track Night in America at Sebring.

Good day everyone! I just purchased my first Subaru BRZ! I am absolutely in love with the look of the BRZ and managed to find a 2018 Premium at quite a steal. I'm very new to the world of cars and I look forward to learning more on here! Thanks in advance!
