Trying to take a poll here as I just purchased some new wheels. I'm on stock suspension and would like to stay that way. How will this fit on my car, specifically the front?
18x9.5 +40 and 245/35 Will I need spacers in the front? If so, what mm would you recommend? |

Yes, a 5mm spacer should make everything clear on stock suspension. You will have some poke. Additionally, to add camber, you would also need coilovers. The spring diameter on most coils is smaller than OEM. This frees up some room under the car to add negative camber and run a higher offset. (like your +40 wheels)

Looking at 17x9.5 +36 Volk TE37 SL. What tire size will be perfect for this wheel if lowered by coilovers by 1” - 1.5”?

245/40/17 or 255/40/17 are your size choices. What kind/brand of tire do you want?

Yes, a bit, but not bad. And you have them. You can always upsize when you wear them out. This is what I'd suggest. Unless you have $$$$ to burn...

Hey guys. I am looking to get some new wheels and tires this spring and had some questions about the fit. I'm kinda new to the wheel and tire mods but looking to get them as my first mod for this car. I have a 18 BRZ PP so i'm worried about clearance with the stock brembos.
I am looking at fifteen52 integrales 18x8.5 https://fifteen52.com/collections/ca...12920165335106 They have 2 offsets +30 and +45. Im not sure which one to pick. Also what would be the ideal tire size for this? I will be mainly daily driving and occasional track and spirited runs up curvy roads. That's why i want to get stickier tires. I plan to put coilovers in at some point this year. Any thoughts? |

Welcome to the forum! I can't tell you for sure if the wheels you have chosen will fit with the PP package. But, from looking at the spoke design, I think that the +30 offset has a better chance of fitting and will look flush. A 225/40 tire would work for a stretched look. A 245/35 will work for a meatier look. Here are a few threads that may have some info... http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=130155 http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=112189 http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=116292

Today I'm on 18x9.0 running 225/40/18.
She's dropped about 1,77" (45mm) on KW v3 coilovers. Camber is at -1,5 front, and -2,3 rear. The setup is sweet for my driving. But rocks and rubble keep hitting my rims, and the stretch look is just not worth the damage to the paint. Now, would I get in any fitment trouble if I went for 245/35/18 tires this season? Even at full steering angle... Pics of the current setup: |

Next in line... 2017 BRZ Series.Yellow (Limited, Stock suspension, stock Brembo Brakes)
I am attempting to find the correct size of https://momo.com/en-us/product/heritage-6/ these Momo Heritage 6 17x8 as they are made to order with offsets from 0 to +48. Using the Wheel-it-fit fitment graphic https://www.ft86motorsports.com/wheelitfit/ the 17x8 +36 lines up the inside wheel clearing the suspension with plenty of additional clearance at the inner part of the wheel clearing where the brakes should be, if I am interpreting the diagram correctly. The only stipulation is that I don't know if the "Old Setup" (2013-2019 FRS-BRZ-86) above takes into consideration Premium brakes vs Limited Brembos. I need help determining the correct Offset and anyone's help is greatly appreciated. TIA, Louise |

Alright, to make a long story short im looking at wheels about an hour away, and I cant fit all 6 in my BRZ so im looking to save time with a definite answer here.
2017 BRZ PP with Brembos, an Eibach Pro kit, 1.4" drop, no spacers. Looking at 18x9.5 +38 Work CR Kai, making sure it'll clear my brakes as well as my stock struts. I bought a set of Konigs a few weeks ago that don't clear my brakes so I'mm looking to avoid that headache again. Thanks!

Now, what size tire are you planning on using? With that drop you may have rubbing in the front and might need to use a 3mm spacer for clearance. |

they have 225/40s right now, i probably wouldn't go over a 235 later on though, I don't want to roll my stock fenders yet.
