This was the first car I drove; a Powder Blue 1970 Mercury 10 passenger station wagon. It would hold ten people, if four of them were little kids, since there was a popup set of seats in the rear cargo area. I got my driver's license in that thing; even learned to parallel park it successfully. It weighed over two tons but had a 390 big block V8, so it would get up and move if asked. "I got me a car and it's as big as a whale and it's about to set sail..."
P.S. That's not me in the photo. I took it off the 'net.

My first legit car should have been similar to yours since my parents wanted me to take my mother's 65 Chrysler Windsor 2 door. Pretty much the Chrysler Canada version of the Polara. I turned it down since it was "too big" and then ran out and bought the Impala at 4 inches longer and 2 inches wider!

The first car that was mine and I bought was a 1994 Nissan 300zx.
I drove a 1998 Ford Expedition that I shared with my father for awhile until I purchased my Z.

1998 Toyota Corolla. Not the most exciting ever, but it was a 5 speed manaul which was fun. Reliable as hell too, best first car I could have gotten imo.

I keep forgetting you're old too.
I had one of these bad boys. 1975 Beetle. First year EFI, all analog. With the factory shop manual I started learning logical troubleshooting.
