Radium Dual Catch Cans on NA setup

Hello,

Are there any negative effects of installing the dual catch cans on a NA setup? Or should I just go with the 1 catch can on the PCV side till I am boosted?

Thank You

There's no negative, but no real point either.

While I whole heartedly agree theres no negative, I disagree to say there's no point.

I run one on the PCV side, and you wouldn't believe the crap that gets built up in there. Certainly not as much as there could be if I was FI.. but even N/A theres a lot of crap that gets trapped in that can - I'm happy I have one.

He asked about dual. Yes a single is good. I run one as well. No point in the second one. Hell there are even guys on here that run a second while boosted and don't get anything with it.

I installed the PCV side only, almost a year before going FI....didn't catch squat. After 8 months of running the Edelbrock kit, emptied maybe 1/2" of liquid from the can. Just for reference, I put about 10k miles per year on my car and I use the whole RPM range! YMMV. Each engine and setup is different, some will have more blow by than others.
So the only negative would be cost and something else to keep your eye on and maintain. I would certainly recommend one (or 2) though, when going FI.

I'm NA and the PCV can catches loads of crap that I'd rather not be in the intake manifold and heads. Also the more blowby gets into the combustion chamber the less room there is for air and fuel.. rather have a can than not.

NA with Radium on the PCV side. I catch a small amount of blow by - definitely enough to where I'm glad I got this thing.
