Boooo. How am I supposed to compare my BRZ times to the minivan?

LOL

I heard this is primarily for the sport bikes. I think it will be standard config for cars.

Signed up for the Turn2 event on Sat April 18th. B group. Anybody else going? I'll be back to NA assuming everything goes well with car surgery.

Everything I do this year is tentative but I am going to try to make that one. I am trying to focus more on spring and fall events.

In case the worst were to happen, what towing service should I be using at the Ridge and/or PR?

I have to imagine at some point I'll break something important enough to not be able to drive home

Do the pits count as a large gathering? Surely being isolated in a car is the next best thing to staying home? Argh, I hope they don't cancel the season.

So far both Hooked on Driving and Audi Club NW events next weekend (3/27-29/2020) at the Ridge are cancelled.

Sounds like things are tentatively still on as far as Turn2 is concerned. As noted, things could easily change.

Hi!

Yesterday was a gorgeous day so I decided to do some social distancing and flew Pam up and wave at the Canadian border. Not too many people to run into at 7,000'.

There has been some questions as to what Turn2 will be doing about the outbreak of the Covid-19 and any impact it may have on the schedule. We have learned a few things from past experiences that open air and sunlight is a real positive health advantage against a war of unseen bugs. After talking with the Ridge Motorsport Park manager yesterday, we discussed upcoming events. We recognize that our first regular season event is a month away. Just looking back one month, we can see a lot can change in one month. Hopefully a lot of the virus issues can be resolved by then, but as it stands now, we will hold our events as scheduled with the hope that we can be an outlet from being shut in and isolated. Our events are outdoors, limited in number, and we will practice good personal care by washing hands, cough into a tissue and then disposing properly that tissue. Everyone should be well practiced by then, so let's be healthy and enjoy the sunshine that is ordered for April 17th and 18th. I do recommend that our cars also practice social distancing at the track and stay 6' away from each other and no shaking fenders.

If by chance the border between the USA and Canada is closed to non essential travel, hopefully they will understand the essential need to be at a track. Of course, if there is that one border agent that doesn't get it, there is no cancellation policy funding issues for the month of April. We will miss our Canadian friends, but the season will be just starting and we will see you later.

If there is more of a lock down from the State of Washington, we will follow the protocols they put into place at that time. If we have to cancel, we will do so in a timely manor. In the mean time, let's go ahead and plan for an awesome event and get out and enjoy some outdoor air and sunshine and breathe in some good health.

Our upcoming events are April 17th, 18th, and 24th! It's a great start to an awesome season!

At least there is some hope.

What's going on with your car? I should get mine back tomorrow—can't wait.

I now have RCE T2's, solid mounted subframe, lower control arm bushings in the front. I'd also like to add the Raceng +1 rear shock mounts to gain back some travel. Thinking about pulling the rear seat and building a panel to cover it as well as building some aero panels under the car to cover up the rear section and incorporate it into the diffuser. All depends on how much time I have and what happens in the next month.
