Haha, yes. It's much better than -15f, but I want to live somewhere that I can see 40-50 consistently by March.

Not bad. Winter happened and I just didn't want to try breaking in a new engine with it being so cold. It's still finding ways to mess with me, I'm getting a recurring P0016 and I know exactly what that means. So I get to continue playing games but at least it runs and drives. It's been so long since I've driven a car with hard motor mounts, I thought for sure the car was misfiring like a bastard and thought my wheels were coming off because I'm not used to stiff springs

I've been eyeing CT. In-laws live there, though Fairfield is a bit rich for my taste. I wish I could just... move my house to another plot of land. Maybe I should live in a trailer

The New London County is relatively cheap. Can't say the same about the Stonington area as I got extremely lucky to have bought the house when I did. Houses in my area went up like rockets after 2021, mostly because is so quiet and quaint it attracts a lot of NY/NJ folks.

I'm stoked for you figuring out your valve timing issue, even if it was from a previous "oops." We all do it.

Me too, it was scary and if I hadn't ripped it apart, it would've demolished my new engine. Not totally out of the water, but that was a big oops

Connecticut is a beautiful place when you get away from the cities, but I guess that's true anywhere.

Hm today I pissed off a lady at the Costco gas station. She was waiting almost all the way in the next pump lane and her fuel door was on the left side, so that made sense. And nobody was really waiting right behind the last pump on the right of where she was. So I merged in because there was so much space. And then she kept honking at me. Once we both were getting gas, she walked right behind the BRZ and stood next to the trunk just glaring at me. And once I was done filling up, I put the pump back in the holder and she started mildly shouting how everyone's been waiting.

So I just brushed it off and said it looked like she was waiting in the other lane and nobody was moving into the lane I chose .

I don't like people who cut either but half the reason Costco gas is always crowded is because people take their time moving up in line and picking the pump they want or whatever.

I should be more careful next time tho wouldn't want some dude getting even more pissed off and starting something.

Careful. The ladies are going about armed now too. Can't tell by the meshback hats anymore.

The road between Cannon Beach and Nehalem has a spectacular surface and linked turns that are ace.
Astoria to CB is a potholed disaster area.

Hungry? Check out El Trio Loco in Manzanita. Cannon Beach is too crowded with Portlandians and not the cool ones.
