Weird noises or is it normal?

is this the sound of a healthy engine? i know the squeaking is the high fuel pump and i know that is normal but is the ticking/maybe clunking? normal? Also when the ac ticks on the engine will vibrate and i can feel it if im touching the rear tires. Is this all normal? do the stock ones do this too? video here. https://imgur.com/gallery/RwyoY7T

Fr, these engines always sound unhealthy. Idk why, my girlfriend started my 86 the other day for me (I'm out of town) and she said it was making a chirping noise. It's just the "crickets" and they're normal.

The engine isn't garbage, it's just the HPFP a lot of cars have a chirp or squeak with newer high pressure fueling systems. It's just more noticeable on the 86 platform.

please do. i'll take the old motor so you don't have to burdened with scrapping or storing it.

My Tacoma's DI 3.2 v6 makes similar tractor noises, except it sounds more crunchy. Always checking the oil worrying it's munching the valvetrain

DAMN, Jynx, - quit fretting over how the engine in this car sounds.

So, it sounds like an old, Yugoslavian, 4 cylinder, diesel tractor engine.

Just ignore the sounds and pay attention to the lights on the dash, they will usually tell you if the engine is ailing.

The only sound you have to fret about is a loud - knock - knock - knock - if you hear that, just quickly pull over to the side of the road and call for a wrecker truck.
