Izzy has sure grown in the last 3 weeks. Both in size and personality... and boy can she chew. Absolutely fearless too. Will play with any size dog, loves to meet any new people, and will try to jump from any height lol

She's now with me 2 days a week at the office, and other 3 days are with my parents for doggy daycare. Once she is housebroken she will be a fulltime office dog with me!

Another tough rainy day at the Hawk household. Since we can't go for a walk, we'll just search for the peanut butter in our Kong, then take a nap with some friends.

The wife took Remy in for his first Big Boy cut. The blow dry left him with a bad case of the frizzies and I don't like the blunt cuts or his curly top. However, we love seeing his bright eyes and he seems quite taken with his new look. he's been strutting around like a peacock since she brought him home.
Here are the before and after shots.

Izzy now has all of her puppy shots, and weighs in at a hulking 3.02kg @ 4months lol. She's on track to be about 4.5kg fully grown.

We started puppy training classes a month ago and are making steady progress. She picks up commands quickly, but I will often see her sit there with the gears turning and her deciding if she wants to listen or not. The joys of a smart and stubborn breed. With a beef liver treat in hand she is almost 100% compliant though!

Down to at most 2 potty accidents a day, so that has come a long way. There have been a few days with no accidents too. She will run to the door when she needs to go, and accidents are usually me not paying enough attention and she goes next to the door. Slow and steady...

Had a nice sunny day on Saturday and she discovered how nice it was to roast herself in a sunbeam on my patio <3

Just noticed we past the 1 year mark with this one

My favorite trick we have taught her is to smile. This never gets old, and she does it when ever one of us gets home

The wife was able to "fix" the hats for the kiddos. We had a nice little PAWty for Remy's 1st.

People constantly mishear me when they ask me to say Haru's name.

Person asks what the name of my dog is.

Me: "Haru, like HAWR-ROO"

Person: "ohhh Hartley!"

So far I've gotten variations of: "Harvey, Hartley, Harv, Har"

Even when I make sure to enunciate and specifically emphasize the "ROO" and the end. I don't get it.

Long afternoon nap:
