Where are the forced induction dynos? Where are the stock block HP estimates?
Just curious when we can expect to see this information?
The bottom end internals are different on this generation - just surprised we havent seen more information about the stock block limits - and FI gains. Am I just missing this conversation? |

Heck, I was pretty surprised to find out you could swap the headers. |

HKS is running a piggyback of some sort with their turbo kit in development, and is a littler over 300hp to the wheels.

I wonder how much that's going to affect the cost of tuning when you have to buy additional hardware + installation? Either way still going to get some parts + a tune when I can do so. Or am I just jumping the gun and you think EcuTek will get it cracked eventually?

The FA24 is the same physical size as the FA20. That's why the headers still fit. The displacement is only larger because they increased the bore.

I'd guess the modifications that might be required are more likely due to the changes in body style than the engine itself. I'm taking a wild guess here but some of the differences might affect mounting points for the intercooler, fan shroud clearance, intake piping clearance around the radiator support, also throttle body location might be different since the intake manifold iirc is different. I could be wrong and all of this has remained unchanged

To be transparent, I have not owned anything I wanted to ring more power out of in a long time. For those that have been in the weeds with this recently, what should expectations be?
I would love to hear some predictions as to what gains might be for folks looking for more out of their daily driver. Will you be going with: 1.Full exhaust from headers out? 2.Turbo 3.Supercharger 4.ECU only Just considering ways to get a bump without adding much weight and not losing dependability. What direction will you take? |

I will reuse the headers on Gen2- just will be waiting for a tuning solution - which probably will be ECUTek first and will be more expensive than OFT - probably $1500, although admittedly it will be a more custom tune. Not sure OFT (or anyone else) will offer a tuning solution and don’t know when that will be. Last edited by CincyJohn; 03-09-2022 at 05:39 AM. |

Didnt the first gens get more than this with headers/e85/tune? I see delicious tuning say that with the ace header and e85 they could get 40-45 hp... Lies? |
