Does anyone have a pinout for the pigtail in the USDM fog kit. I plan on tapping into the connector that's already there when I install mine.

Nonauto fog switch.

Any one order the nonauto switch from Nigel-jdm? The one I received is a momentary switch. Meaning you turn the fog light switch and it springs back to the off position so they don't stay on in my car. Also had to repin the fog light connector on the stalk.

sorry to bring up an old thread.

Did anyone figure out how to wire the Euro-spec GT86 stalk with auto and rear fog to power rear fog? fully functioning with rear fog indicator in dash as well. I am in the US.

I understand there is no rear fog wiring in our cars. but if anyone has figured it out, i would like to know. thanks

Can't be done to oem spec unless you change the ecu to euro version. Alternative, is to wire it yourself to the reverse fog switch on the stalk itself. Trust me, it's more trouble than it's worth. In the end I just wired it in series with my front fogs.

Thanks for the info. I was already under the impression that i would have to wire it to the stalk myself. I was wondering if anyone had done it. And if so, would the indicator light up?

Thanks again for your reply. i appreciate it

Np. I believe the indicator won't light up because that is controlled by the ecu.

Direct wiring, if you get it done. Mind sharing?

Not exactly but I know this much:

Black/yellow is ground, and I connected by black ground cable on the switch to that.

Purple is Ignition power, I connected one of the reds to that.

I'm not sure about the white and black/white nor which they correspond to on the switch itself....

Anyone with GT86 headlights can confirm what the grey connector is for? and if they also have the same plastic capped wire bundle?
I have been searching for the exact same wiring! Can't see evidence of it but I'm sure it must be there hidden somewhere. Is back breaking whilst your squished under the steering wheel

Has anyone found the OEM wire harness and been able to successfuly fit the headlight leveling ECU?

It would just be nice that when the switch is pushed in (fogs are on), the fog indicator on the dash would also come on; I'm sure it can be done, I just dont know what wire I would have to tap into to make that work.
I know your post is fairly old and I don't know if you figured it out yet, but it is possible to do what you're asking as I've managed to accomplish the same thing on my 2011 RAV4. I'm even using the same push button you're using.

Instrument Panel Illumination

For those who are still trying to get the fog light indicator on the instrument panel to illuminate, this is how you do it via factory operation:

However there are two issues:

1) I'm not sure which relay is the one for the fog lamps, if there are any installed at all. If it is installed, you might hear a "click" in the relay box when you turn on the fog lights via Pin#4 on the stalk.

2) The reason why the fog relay is important to identify is because most of our cars don't come prewired from the factory with fog light harnesses, meaning we need to make/buy our own. By knowing which relay is for the fog lights, we can modify that relay to use as the +12V for our fog lights, as the relay would have done if your car had fog lights from the factory. Here's how I modified my fog relay in my 2011 RAV4:

The relay is still insertable in its slot in the relay box, and the black wire is the +12V for the fog lights, which is running through the firewall.

That's what it looks like installed in the relay box.

The black wire is fished through the firewall to the fog lamps.

The fog light indicator (left side) illuminates when they're turned on. Also note my RAV4 also uses pin #4 on the stalk, so I assume pin#4 is universal on all recent Toyotas?
