I wish it was going to be that kind of Bachelor Party...

The bride is going to be there to make sure there are no fun shenanigans :-(

Rather long update from the facebook page:

As of now the day will start at 12pm (noon). If nobody else signs up to dyno, it should go until about 5pm. If it runs longer than that, no worries.

They are working on a rough schedule/outline now. Everyone that paid will get an email tonight. Please note that these are NOT exact times. It is so not everyone shows up at 2pm and expects to be done and gone by 2:30!! It's also to be sure that the few people that *do* have time constraints are taken care of well before a problem arises.

IF YOU NEED TO LEAVE BEFORE NOON: Let the shop know now! Someone will be there at roughly 9am, so they CAN get you in and out before noon. But as of now, nobody has said they needed to be there in the morning.

THOSE THAT HAVE PAID: If you have not gotten an email confirmation from rrudeau@gmail (or hotmail for some), PLEASE SPEAK UP NOW. This is a different email than the PayPal confirmation! One or two of you sent payments to the wrong email address, so hopefully they were the only ones.

2120 James St. Denton, TX 76205

It's like 2 miles, if that, off 35E if you're coming that way. From that direction, you'll turn right onto Massey, where there's a brand new Jon's EZ Lube (or Jon's something similar) - there is a green VW Beetle-based dune buggy in front of their shop on work days, not sure about Sundays... It IS directly across the street from a trailer park, so don't think you went down the wrong road when you see that.

E85 guys: There is a Martin Eagle station not even 1/2 mile down the road from the shop that sells E85 that routinely tests fairly high. Just tested the other day at E77. They do NOT have 91 octane, for anyone running that. 87, 89, 93, E85 is all they sell.
There are also a few other stations within a few miles that sell E85.

If you're coming up 35W, there's no E85 between the Valero at TMS (~exit 70) and the one on the same road as the shop. It's about 20 miles between the two, so plan accordingly. I don't have any idea about E85 stations along 35E, sorry.

Well I'm not getting a dyno, headers aren't in yet, but I'll be in the area that afternoon so I may just swing by and see what kind of 86s show up.

Everyone that prepaid should have gotten an email with a rough time by now. If not, speak up and the message will get relayed to the appropriate people.

Stopping by to watch and hang out for a bit is not the least bit discouraged.

That was a fun day. I took some videos of the dyno runs for anyone who's interested, they aren't the greatest though and I forgot exactly what mods most of the cars were running. If you see your car and want to share, leave a comment on the video of what the mods were and what it made and I can add them to the video description. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...evRnL8_1_H4i6r

Hey guys, hope y'all enjoyed the Dyno Day. I was looking forward to getting out there and getting a baseline to see what kind of jump the OFT stage 2 E85 provided on a stock car but unfortunately had to attend the funeral of a very close family friend. If you guys want to post some numbers that'd be cool. I really hope we have another event like this in the near future. I'll check out the video once I get a chance.

I forgot to bring a flash drive with me yesterday. Didn't realize it till I went to get everything. Sorry

I have one with me today, so I'll grab everyone's files after class. They should all be emailed tonight. So, unless people post their phone images, there's no graphs out there just yet. Again, my bad.

ATS Racing is always down for another one, the community just needs to ask. That's assuming everyone liked the venue. Next time we'll have to sort out the food issue a little better..hope everyone that was hungry managed to feed themselves.

We had a stock car on E85 that put down ~184whp which was about 2hp higher than mine with full exhaust on E85.

Wow that's pretty crazy!! Yeah I was looking forward to comparing my results to yours with what you have done. Could it be the tune on yours? Did anyone get a chance to evaluate the AFRs using the OFT off the shelf tunes?

I will definitely be down if we decide to have another one.

We were both using off the shelf tunes from OFT. IIRC he was using the EL tune and I was using the UEL tune (the correct ones for our respective setups).
I think my AFRs were a little higher than his, but I don't remember for sure. I think I had a slight advantage in the torque dip but honestly both were so similar that it doesn't really matter.
Here's my dyno results

And a not so great picture of the other cars runs
