Real World MPG
Has anyone else been getting higher than EPA estimates? I'm really pleased with my 31-33 range consistent on every tank.
I have the limited 6sp manual. Curious to see if auto owners are getting the 34+ range. |

Pretty accurate. I'm averaging ~27-28MPG overall, mostly from a ~3 mile commute daily on surface streets, and mostly freeway to other places outside of work. -alex |

I live on Long Island, NY and often drive on the LIE also known as "The world's largest driveway" and I get 27.3 avg for the lifetime. I'm satisfied

Check the signature. That is with 16 mile commute and one night of fast driving a week.

I am driving in mostly city traffic (I would say about 80% city, 20% hwy) with about 50% of that being stop and go and am averaging 26mpg with spirited driving. If I drove more highway and more conservatively I am sure I would be well over 30mpg.

How do you guys all drive so gingerly? My commute is 4 miles, all city, but I drive a hell of a lot farther on the weekends. I've been getting 24 to 27 mpg, at most. Limited 6MT.

My lifetime average is around 29 mpg for my BRZ Limited. I'd say that's 60/40 hwy to city driving, with most highway driving being 75+ mph.

After 2000 miles, I'm averaging right at 30 mpg with my 6mt. Car is stock, but with a Unichip controller.

I'm averaging about 24 MPG, but it's pretty much all city driving. Since I'm still brekaing it in, I don't want to go over 4K very much, but come on, it happens sometimes .
