Joying Headunit into 2016 FR-S

I just bought a OEM Style Joying Head Unit for my 2016 FR-S. I want to make sure everything works to include my USB part, Aux Port, and Stock Backup Camera.

This link give everything needed for a BRZ. Are these the same items I will need to make everything work on my FR-S?

It should be, when I did the install on my 2017 86, a lot of the wires were different, and the amp power was on a completely different plug and it took a while with the volt meter to find it.

I'm going to try to have the Kenwood 6903 radio installed with the Maestro RR system which is supposed to keep all the factory functions of the steering wheel and camera and usb port. Hoping it all works out.

Any chance you could do a little write up on the specific differences. The wiring harness has been stumping me for some time and I had suspected it may had been different on the 17.

Should be, but some wiring/pins would be different.

You guys should check out the Joying threads and the wiring harness/amp power on threads. Most info in those main threads were for the FRS/pre-'16 BRZ's/not the '16+ Starlink BRZs. Akuma's DIY is awesome for the '16+ Starlink BRZ guys since it puts everything for the later BRZ guys in one place as we were getting wrong info in other threads since people's recommendations on what to do and how to hook up were based off the FRS and pre-'16 BRZ wiring and not the different '16+ Starlink BRZ wirings.
