I never learned to weld. I joined a general-interest 4H club (4H for tech nerds rather than farm nerds) about a week after they finished welding the go cart frame.

Funny thing is my dad left me all the equipment I need when my parents downsized, I just haven't had a need for it yet.

I made a bong in ceramics class. I guess high school in California was different in the 70's.
