@Webster10 my apologies in doubting you. In my eagerness to give the benefit of the doubt to the seller I placed it in the wrong place. I am admittedly still baffled by some aspects of the situation though. Such as how the seller has no post history. Not like he could delete his threads. @ichitaka05 or @Guff may have deleted the threads though. Did you report him since I think that a ban is in order for @AlexJamesFRS .

What do you mean by posted? Did he never post what he wanted to sell? If so I know on reddit hardwareswap and buildapc parts swap stuff they have a rule which I feel would be great here, do not respond to PMs for items unless from an official post, also do not respond to PMs if they do not comment on the original post.

Also on the same subreddit, they have a rule which I'm not sure will work here, but you can't post anything for sale or comment/pm people using the subreddit unless you have a certain amount of karma and comments. I feel something similiar would work well here, bearing in mind AlexJamesFRS didn't comment or post anything anywhere it would be awesome if they can't PM people till they reach a certain amount of comments, posts and thanks....

I thought, we had a rule that, can posts a sale thread without minimal amount of post? (1~10?) yes, even a mod don't know all the detail rules lol

Just food for thought, I've been on reddit for awhile doing pc builds for friends, family and work and those are some of the rules they created on the subreddit because scammers are rampant there.

Ended up getting the money refunded. All of it. So cedars, looks like I wasn't such a dunce Nigerian price supporter after all. The moment you get $400 refunded after accidentally gifting to someone through paypal, then you can condescend me about my ability to navigate financial transactions. Good day everyone.
