Painting the red Shoulders on the FRS Seats Black

I really dont like the red shoulders on the frs seats, and cant find a set of brz seats. im looking around and see that some people paint the fabric on their upholstery. was wondering if anyone can suggest a good spray or paint on the type of fabric on these seats. i just want to paint it from red to black. thanks

The red inserts bother me too...I was thinking about how to get rid of the flaps while maintaining an oem look...I don't know about paint, but fabric dye (as suggested by orangeblue) would seem to be a better choice...or have someone sew in a black cover over the red flaps on the seats, but this seems more involved and expensive...

If you decide to go leather, don't buy anything till you've at least checked out Katzkins.

Pretty sure autozone sells fabric dye in aerosol form that may work.

I never even knew these existed. How durable is the color they leave behind?

I've used a Sharpie to touch up black clothes, and that lasts through a couple *washes*.

I'm not fond of the red shoulders either.
