It's cut off boost just fine. It cuts it off about 3.5 psi above the set alarm. I had mine set to 20 psi and that's why you saw the 23.5 psi on my gauge.

The AEM failsafe uses a lowside ground to enable the failsafe measure. It can be wired to a number of things. Many select to use it on the EBCS to cut boost in a lean event. It CAN be sent to the ECU as a means to pull timing out or cut fuel but a good tune is already going to have those counter measures.
Heres a shot of my wiring harness from Jacob at TuckTech. Its just a relay in line with the EBCS/EVAP harness. As soon as the gauge alarms, it kills power to the EBCS and drops you to wastegate pressure. TuckTech even offers the AEM Failsafe with this harness as a plug and play. No splicing required. Shoot him an email if you are so inclined. He will just need to know what kind of EBCS you are running for the connector type. tucktechjacob@gmail.com

350 whp on 93 octane at 11 psi is far from reasonable. Congrats. You played yourself. I would love to have seen some logs from that tune.

Looking at some of your past OFT tuning posts, I am going to assume you were on E85 when you made the 350 on 11 psi which is more reasonable.

This was on 93, no "playing myself" here. But, does it really matter? The engine blew up anyway. Next stop: 500+ on pump. Tell me it won't happen, and I'll be glad to post the dyno sheet when it's done in a month or so

A boost spike to 20ish psi last spring bent a rod in my original motor, so I feel your pain lol. I totally agree about how easy it is to pull theses motors. Mine died on a friday but was up and running again by Sunday afternoon.
