Here's a tip I learned for cheaply shipping heavy large items: Greyhound. Just wrap the thing up in cardboard. They ship it in the luggage compartment of a bus for about half the price of UPS. You pick up at the bus station.

I disagree I shipped out a bumper through greyhound a few weeks ago to a fellow forum member and greyhound lost it they tried putting a trace on it and nothing. I would really think about it before sending anything through greyhound, im still in the process of filing a claim so I can get reimbursed.

Sorry to hear you lost something by greyhound. Hope you can get that cleared up.
People have lost things through UPS US Postal Service FedEx though as well. All of them screw up. What I said is they were cheap not best or perfect. And who the heck else will even ship a bumper?
