Chances of Someone Developing 5x114.3 HUBS (not spacers)?

There are soooooo many more wheel choices out there for 5x114.3mm wheels, especially if you want wider, lower-offset wheels. Think 18x9.5 +38 RPF1s

I know the S-chassis has had 5 lug aftermarket hubs out for a while. Does anyone foresee someone offering replacement hubs in 5x114.3mm?

I bet those would sell really well. What do you think?

I am waiting patiently for someone to come up with a hub swap as well.

My understanding is that you can swap the rears with late model STI hubs. So we just have to figure out the fronts.

Greddy made some for one of their early concept cars. They are supposed to be preparing them for sale to public. I know a few other tuner shops have been thinking about developing some as well.

I personally have a great set of wheels from my old 240sx that I would love to put on the BRZ.. but no dice until I can work some kind of 5x114 conversion.

Its a great idea and there is certainly profit to be made there. Hopefully someone will figure something out.

I've seen at least one post from Crawford Performance on another forum where they said they are working on a solution to use 5x114.3. The rear can be swapped for the STi ones, but the fronts are obviously a problem with no axle.

For some reason Crawford doesn't participate in this forum.

I have some stuff drawn up to do it but it won't be cheap. If the track cars start having wheel bearing issues I will spend some more time on it.

I work at a large machine shop and thought about producing some hubs, until I got the front rotors off to have a look. The rears look doable, didn't know about the STI counterparts at the time. The fronts, however, look like there isn't enough clearance inside the 'hat' of the disc for the bigger pcd. This is without measurements, although I had a 5x114.3 wheel close by and I could see that it wouldn't jive by eyeballing it. Here's some pics I took though, might help someone out somewhere...

Front...

Discs looked to be 'concentric' to this outer edge...
