Please share info on the ACT street clutch/disc and the power and torque numbers you make. I'm looking at this disc to replace my 6 puck.

I am going to update this thread when I put the rear brakes on. Just waiting on the powdercoater to finish them. Should be any day now.

04+ front calipers are direct bolt on

In the rear you need 08+ STI calipers for them to be bolt on.

Pricing? Find the cheapest used calipers possible. Just keep checking the forums, junk yards, and ebay. It took me MONTHS to find what I wanted at the price I was willing to pay. To do it reasonably cheap you are going to have to be really patient.

I got the rear calipers for $230 shipped on Ebay, I have seen people trying to get up to $700 for them other places. I got very lucky. The guy had them listed as 04-07 calipers for some reason, than it was missing the hardware and had stripped out bolts. They will look brand new by the time I am done with them.

You sure about that? I am sure that my Full Blown install involved widening the 8 bumper beam mounting holes and drilling out the holes in the bumper beam that the intercooler mounts to.

Was with a forum member this weekend helping to finish the install and he told me the exact same thing about widening the 8 holes.

Yeah the idea is that it gives you that extra 1/4" to 1/2" of space so that the undertray is not pushed down by the intercooler as Full Blown really tried to maximize the intercooler core height.

100%. Maybe you have a different core?

Ah damn. I didn't try putting the bumper back on yet, but I commented that the under tray looked pushed down a bit. I guess I am slotting some holes when I get back to the shop. I did the install without the instruction file.

Ill fix that part of the write up. Thanks for picking up on that.

Why did u choose to recirculate waste gate pressure? From my experience this only serves the purpose of keeping the car quieter. The recirculated air will only cause turbulence and back pressure in the exhaust system.
