Nope.

Some people will never go beyond the CARB tune. If that's the case, why spend more?

Definately in for more updates about the new system and would like to see pics of the new system if it's any different from the old one. Can't wait until you guys release a high boost pulley like how you did for your last charger and see how much power people will be getting on the new charger.

+1. I'm curious to see what the C38 blower maxes out at.

The high boost pulley on the JRSC made 370whp (dyno in another thread) on E85 with exhaust.

I would think the C38 should be able to hit 400+whp on E85. Maybe 450 with a smaller pulley?

The C38 mounts in the exact same location as the C30. The High Boost Pulley fits both C30 and C38.

The HBP is compatible with the C38, but you better have a built engine and again, race fuel and/or ethanol!

Yeah been considering FI for awhile. Want to get a good amount of $$ saved up first before anything happens. My warranty is up in 3k miles anyways.

I would love to see the boost cures laid over each other in the stock CARB configuration. I have no choice but to run the CARB setup based on where I live and all the bases I can PCS to have horrible smog laws... I would love to have the overhead of the C38 but since it would be a few years before I can even break free of the CARB tune I am wondering which one will have the more desirable curve. I understand the C30 will have a more linear curve but if they started at the same psi and the C38 finished at a slightly higher point it will be the desirable choice for me. If they both finish at the same exact psi I would probably want the C30.

Do I make any sense right now? English is my second language. :P

Question is, will you ever build your motor? And...if you do, what is your motor budget? Realistically speaking, C30 is a pretty solid setup. While the upgrade path is similar between C30 and C38, the extra overhead of the C38 is definitely desirable when going down the path of a proper developed built motor.

Being active duty I never know where I will be sent. But when I retire I will move to Oregon where I will finally be free to do to my car as I please. So the overhead and possibilities provided by the C38 are very attractive. But I am not retired yet so I am wondering which one will be better to live with day to day. I have no problem going with a C30 then exchanging it down the road once I am retired, but it would simply be convenient if there wasn't much of a draw back of going straight to the C38. For all I know my next assignment could be Oklahoma (praying it won't be) but if it were... I could start turning things up

I will be receiving my C38 kit on Monday and do the install throughout the week. Hopefully get the tune worked out and everything with Delicious by the first weekend in February and will get it on the dyno to see what it does. Weather permitting of course. It will not be the carb tune since I have full exhaust. But hoping to have some real numbers here within 2 weeks that I can share.

What would be required engine mods to properly withstand repeated, high rpm boost from a C38 and HBP? (Assuming some supporting mods like E85, a good tune, and cooling)

Would those adversely affect CARB output if someone had to revert all other things for an inspection?

Are there otherwise stock specification components, that are just much stronger?

Apologies, I know absolutely nothing about building a motor.
