Plastidipped my wheels. They look terrible. Will probably remove next weekend. http://imgur.com/aRhqUcU,FR4E96u,3qA...LI7IPU,5wth787

Finally got my wheels in today. Need to adjust my ride height a bit but overall i am super happy with the fitment, and the way these look.

Gold plastidip with a layer of yellow spray paint in the middle to color match my rims. More dips later this month. Whole car has carbon fiber and gold accents

There are some weeks when the recycling isn't taken on our street, and on those weeks it's just a mess of boxes from Amazon and car part stores. Fortunately I have a birthday party, bachelor party, and wedding to attend this week / next week, so I'll lay off the car parts for now. Eying a Silk Blaze rear wing and then saving up for the JRSC... Also: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYY2Te_kZ6s"]OutRun Kern County - Prologue - YouTube[/ame] Took about 3 hours to render, and then another 4 to upload and process. But I think it was a good test, lazy driving notwithstanding. Tomorrow I record the Kernville drive and with any luck that'll be uploaded sometime next week. |

A little acetone and some gentle rubbing should get rid of the "Scion" on the bottom of your stereo deck. That should complete your Toyota conversion of the interior! |

Put the silencer in my HKS exhaust.... They were not kidding about a 7dB reduction. it went from 105dB (way over 10 times as loud as stock, since dB is logarithmic) to quieter than when I had a nameless muffled axleback. I am immeasurably happy to be able to pass 5k without wincing in pain and actually setting off car alarms (happened about 4 times last week on the street....). Still sounds great and easy to uninstall in a minute or two for the track.

With spring on the way, I thought it would be a good time to give the engine bay a quick wash. The engine bay is sealed off pretty well but still gets its fair share of road muck. Sorry for the blackberry pic

Picked up some Morimoto Elite HIDs 5000k and a set of b2autodesigns v2 wheels spacers 20mm for the front and 25mm for the rear. Looks so much better now! The front pokes out just a little bit but I'm fine with it.
