Does the stock Navigation System self learn??

I think mine does!

I drive over the Goethals bridge connecting NJ to Staten Island ~ 6 times a year.

Recently they built a new bridge that was just south of the original. At first my Navigation showed me in the water or on back streets when I went over the new bridge, but the last 2 times it had the new bridge correct!

I have not updated the software so all I can assume is that the Navigation is self correcting.

Have others noticed this?

Nope. Out of the all the years I had my car I only used nav twice.

But I'm the kind of guy that can just look at the map and remember where I need to go. So I don't need turn by turn directions.

Unless I'm drunk, then I'm supposed tell you guys that I would never do such a thing and you shouldn't too.

Then again who ever rides shotgun is in charge of navigating.

Mine (EUDM BRZ Tomtop nav software) if you connect it to WiFi upgrades from whenever a new version exists.

Oh no, your car has become self-aware/skynet.
