Hood support came loose
It came out of the little rubber base and I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it back in there. There must be a trick to it but it's beyond me.

Not exactly but I figured it out. There's a round circlip with four little tabs on the inside. Each tab needs to be pushed toward the center so the circlip comes out of the frame. Then you slip the clip over the brace and snap it back in. It helps to have three hands and 15 fingers to do it.
