Walther announced the PPK/S in .32 ACP and an SD version. I'm extremely tempted to purchase one just for the wow factor!

Not sure how I feel about the skyscraper mount. I know my height over bore is a mess now. I can see the optic clearly left or right handed now so I guess I will give it a try. The new GLX1 is pretty nice. Not sure it is worth the extra money over the SLX but it’s only a 30 dollar difference in price. I do plan on painting the unity mount black. The FDE was on sale so I got it.

Is the eye relief really as forgiving as they say?
If I ran nods the unity height would make sense but it's all about figuring out what you're purpose for the rifle is

It’s basically unlimited.

This is my plinking at so I wanted to try a setup I could shoot with either hand. I’m usually 25-100 yards on this setup.

Picked this up on a whim and I am pretty sold on Canik. Very impressed with it so far.

Shot the above Raider too, worth the hype. Very fun and easy to handle.

Well, fate intervened. Went to purchase the new Beretta 30x Tomcat off PSA. For whatever reason, their system was down and wouldn't let me make the purchase. I decided to watch a few more videos of said pistol to lust over it. Well, then a handful of videos on current issues with the gun popped up so I did some research. Turns out, it's got a handful of rather serious issues that are frequent enough to warrant holding off. Such as the pin holding the barrel sheering off, FTF/FTE, and a few other QC issues.

I have 2 vintage .25 tomcats and have never had a problem.

Yeah, apparently when Beretta made some updates with the 30x, they had some QC issues. So I'll probably give it another 6mo and then pick one up

Love this ammo in a package you can put in your shirt pocket.

One of my buddies has a monocular setup. It is crazy how well you can see when you throw in an IR illuminator with nods on.

The taller mounts serve a purpose, but if you don’t make use of it, I think they cause more problems than they’re worth.

Height over bore takes some adjusting, but it’s not that bad. You can run a couple easy drills to get it all figured out.
