1 Misfire on all cylinders, No CEL
Hey guys, I'm getting 1 single misfire on all cylinders at both cruise, partial throttle and cold startup. But its always a SINGLE (1 count) misfire according to my ECUTEK log. After every drive I will see misfire on all cylinders and the max count for each is always 1. Of course there's no CEL and I'm wondering if these misfires are just normal that everyone gets? For a normal misfire shouldn't I see the count go higher in a short period of time in the log right? Here's the logs when I captured them for cruise and partial throttle.
2015 FRS 68K miles with Edelbrock SC + Tomei EL Headers and stock injectors. Temps aren't that high in these logs and I don't track the car, obvi since all cylinders have a misfire I can't swap coils to test. Sparks plugs were done at 58K https://datazap.me/u/s0007/misfire-c...g=0&data=27-44 https://datazap.me/u/s0007/misfire-c...g=0&data=28-46 Last edited by FrickingReallySlow; 05-08-2023 at 12:15 PM. |

Found a post by @Strat_FRS on misfires of eco boost engines. Seems like random and intermittent Misfires are expected and normal...if no CEL

Miss-fires are normal, excessive miss-fires are not. That is why you need multiple to throw a CEL.
