in my luck most BRZ/FRS i see in scrap yards or part outs have been rear end collisions or like left side front rigth side rear deals. sometimes the russian salvage yards in LA has stuff for sale. I got a trunk for 275 wingless in 3j7 and a 2017 brz bumper in wrb off them.. only slightly cheaper than brand new |

Hmm, okay, at the current point and time I am not looking to do a 300-450+ repair.
If I were, I agree that finding a trunklid in Asphalt Grey that hasn't been drilled, potentially from a salvage yard, would be the best option. However right now I have a car, without spoiler, with two nasty holes covered by gorilla tape. If I went to do a quick and easy cover up, would something like the following get the job done? I'd buy some plastic caps. And some rtv and add them to the holes and throw a duck bill over it. You just need it to be watertight

and hope they don't gouge you on the price. most ebay prices for used/scratched parts aren't all that far off the $400 estimate.
