Clock spring Re-calibration

Hello I was wondering for those who have had experience doing this on their own, how hard was it? I know for a fact its the spring since I messed with it.

I keep calling dealers but they wont give me a straight price, they say I would have to get it inspected first which is a charge before the actual re-calibrating. Broke college student so I can't spend be spending too much.

If you can afford college, you are not broke. Ask parents for more money.
Jk. Joking aside, some one recently put up a diy on clock springs repair. Google that.

If you are handy with tools then yes it's do able. If not bite the bullet and get a new clock spring. If by change there is a 86 in a bone yard, then that's the cheaper option.

The clock spring is good now the I just need my computer to know where my steering wheel is pointed now. I actually found a post about a toyota techstream knock off that might help.
