Cool New 4-2-1 Long Tube Header

Just stumbled across this... thought I'd share.

I have no affiliation with this product or website.

http://www.theboombopshop.com/Produc...e=BPP-101-1000

Looks wild, wonder how it will perform after tuning.

Where is this produced? It is a lot of money but the JDL header is $1k, then add the overpipe and front pipe and they are pretty close. I've never heard of them but the name reminds of the Hanson song...

That's dang cool. After buying car I was wondering if anybody would do an exhaust design like this. Would love to see dyno results!

That does look wild in a GOOD WAY!

Honestly, I would like to see a Dyno on this. Says it increases midrange w/o loosing top end.

Seems like they were more serious about creating a good powerband rather than normal easy fitment.

Looks VERY promising. Would love to see the dyno results.

Looks like it's replacing the header, overpipe and front pipe. With a catback, this should be fairly price competitive with header and headerback exhaust. Some dyno results would be just the thing.

What I would like to see is what everyone here seems to see. What I see is some pipes, with no dyno numbers, no reputation, and an as yet unproven layout for the platform. And a bunch of people already speculating that this should be awesome.

Why?

Not attacking anyone just want to know what this pipe configuration supposedly accomplishes and why people expect the dyno results to show the gains they individually expect. Think of me as being a devil's advocate here, also I am not versed in the ways of high performance exhausts and what works on a boxer 4.
