Well, I guess you gotta do what you gotta do... That kinda sucks man, but I'm glad you will be staying in the community.

As far as next vehicle purchases, you mentioned a Miata and S2K. I have extensive history with NA & NB Miata's and some history with the S2K. Either car will be awesome to drive, coming out of the 86. As a daily, you may want to look into NB Miata's ('99-'05), or the S2K. With either be prepared to live with even less storage space than the 86, but the driving experience is a bit more rewarding. My recommendation - if you can shoehorn into a NA2 Miata ('94-'97), find the cleanest example you can and modify to your heart's (or wallet's) extent - the world is literally your oyster on these cars. IMHO - there's not a more visceral driving experience for the money.

I'll be there at C&C tomorrow in the 86 this time around, probably around 8:30-8:45. I can't do the drive after though. I need to get into the nitty-gritty of the install of my interior on the Miata... If anyone wishes to lend a hand this weekend, shoot me a PM, the beer fridge is stocked.. lol...

I am buying a Forester 2.0xt as a dd, the other car will be strictly a toy. I am also considering a MR2

I'm coming out to San Antonio next weekend to get my cars tune finalized. Is there anything going on like Coffe & Cars? Won't be able to make it this weekend. Would love to hang out with you fine 86 owners.

Aw hell.... I didn't see that. MR2's are fun, I have a couple of friends' with the MK2 MR2. One has the Camry V6 swap - it's a blast needless to say...

Who the heck impulse buys cars?! Haha
Well... I guess the BRZ will do that to you.
Welcome and happy modding! There will be some impulse buying there!!!

Got a day off tomorrow from the never ending pager, heading to Toyota of Boerne to get some stuff installed. Living in an apartment for my 12 months here dosent foster a great car working environment to say the least. Been running Eneos Sustina 0w20 for about 2 weeks, still amazed at the difference it made.

Anyways, flushing transmission and rear differential oil for Motul Gear Oil GL-4/GL-5 75w90 all around. Couple more Cusco braces and a super non-performance part that should have come with every FR-S...but did not. The standard trunk lid liner, which every BRZ comes with I think. Anyways, the had the best price I could find on it.

Word is the TRD USDM Rear Sway Bar and Lower Springs might be getting ordered for me soon too? I'll let you all know how everything goes tomorrow and what price/ETA I get quoted on the TRD USDM suspension parts...

Eneos Sustina 0w20 is good stuff for sure! Using it now as well. I would not recommend using GL5 Differential Gear Oil in the tranny though...hope you meant/implied the GL4 Motul Gear 300 for that! I am getting ready to try Pentosin MTF2 in my Aisin 6MT as I have one of the notchy shifters and Redline MT90 appears to have made it worse than the OEM fill. Looks like you've been busy doing some nice mod$ in between them pager calls!!

Edit: Just did some homework on the Motul Gear 300 GL4/GL5. Used for "racing gearboxes" and differentials. Oh well. Hopefully the GL5 rating will not impact yellow metals in the tranny as claimed by Motul. Our Manf. Specs call for using a GL3 but, that is an outdated rating and most MT oils are GL4s. I've read articles indicating GL5 used in transmissions will prematurely wear out brass on the syncros. FYI.
