Another note, the 3 greatest man made things in the world, IMO, are:

1. CARS
2. BEER & CHICKEN WANGS
3. NFL REDZONE

Love me some Sundays

EDIT: I found this funny for some reason.
I'm not selling my stock just yet... It hasn't peaked yet...

Yeah, he had a nice van w/ his company and said Drive on it. I was right behind him on line. He bought 2 storage sheds for his detailing equipment I'm sure. This is the same town where he did the Rennwerke Porsche detail so I might see him again. Hopefully.

edit: i didn't get a notification that someone quoted me.

Well, we got a lttle more then 12 inches of rain in September. I hope October is sunnier because laying sod in the rain, when the ground wont stay put, is really difficult.

On a side note, my wifes sister is still using IE on this laptop.

I really don't know enough to say if those ignition advance data points are good or bad. They seem low to me, I'd say you should be closer to the 36 deg point at those loads and rpms, at least the 3700. Tapering off as the rpms increased of course, but I haven't studied enough tables to say for sure.
Maybe it's just the cold engine making things behave funny, I dunno. I feel like that log was taken when it was warmed up though.

There is one thing that's legitimately annoying though, my idle isn't consistent at all! Most of the time it sits happily at 680rpm or so, but sometimes I see the engine raising it to 850-950rpm and not letting it drop. No AC or anything being used... I don't understand, isn't the idle speed supposed to be fixed?

Sometimes, though, it's not too cheap...

In other news, I'm watching Chapelle's Show....

It's funny how many times during the show he says that he's gonna get canceled because of how racy the show is, but HE himself stopped the show because he felt morally obligated to do so...

Still an awesome show!

Man, that could a lot of things, vacuum dropping off, voltage dropping off, battery temp lower then it needs to be (not sure if Toyota used a battery temp sensor or not), idle air controller being sticky, feed forward from the power streering, engine coolant temperature causing the PCM to flip back to a cold start map...well you get the idea.

If that MAF was as gummed up as you say, I'd start by cleaning more of the gunk, it could easily be in and around the IAC as well.
