Steering wheel emblem subie or Toyota?

I know it has been posted and that there is a thread out there somewhere on swapping out the Steering wheel emblem. If I remember correctly there was a fellow owner who was making them in black and theyfit pretty well.

Again I know the thread exists and I will continue to look for it however its been so long Iam also curious if anyone has come up with anything else.

I have a Whiteout but like the Subie Emblem better than Toyota however I know Toyota would be easierto do because of its shape, however I know Subie makes black eblems for some of there interiors on the steering wheel.

If someone could point me in the right direction on how to get a black subie steering wheel emblem on my FRS that would be awesome however a black toyota one would be just as nice.

Thanks
Dan

Just use Toyota emblem. You'll attract haters from BRZ crew.

The only way to get it done right is to order the overseas air bag unit for the 86. It's like $300 or something. It has the 86 emblem in the center

Otherwise you'll be doing some half-assed janky hack

I don't either but some do. It's the only way to do it gracefully. Slapping a Toyota emblem on it that doesn't fit / doesn't cover the space correctly or putting a Subaru logo there (what?) is just ghetto and dumb.

But that's me.

Ignoring the money I don't understand badge swapping. People who know about cars will know what it is. The forums you post on will know what it is. People who don't know about cars, who cares what they think you're driving. If you have a problem with the company and you are changing badges, jokes on you because you just gave them more than $20k. but it comes down to your car, your money, your happiness
