Those tardigrades are weird.

"Entanglement between superconducting qubits and a tardigrade
Quantum and biological systems are seldom discussed together as they seemingly demand opposing conditions. Life is complex, “hot and wet” whereas quantum objects are small, cold and wellcontrolled. Here, we overcome this barrier with a tardigrade — a microscopic multicellular organism known to tolerate extreme physiochemical conditions via a latent state of life known as cryptobiosis. We observe coupling between the animal in cryptobiosis and a superconducting quantum bit and prepare a highly entangled state between this combined system and another qubit. The tardigrade itself is shown to be entangled with the remaining subsystems. The animal is then observed to return to its active form after 420 hours at sub 10 mK temperatures and pressure of 6 ×10−6 mbar, setting a new record for the conditions that a complex form of life can survive."

ain't it fun how facebook has promised to 'bring us together', but the almighty algorithm has really just driven us apart over increasingly miniscule issues?

Is it any better here?

So it is not OK to make a thread saying you do not like the styling of the second gen car? It get's shouted down by a bunch of fanboi snowflakes and then locked for no apparent reason?
Don't think a single moderator on here even owns a twin anymore and the newest one is only good for posting clickbait "news" at an almost spam like level.
Several people that I liked and respected have managed t prove themselves total blithering idiots in the COVID threads and I will have no further interaction with them.

All in all just Facebook at this point anyway.

I'm very confused as to why that thread was locked... Maybe there are deleted posts I can't see?

Lol on the mods not actually having the car.

I'm hoping actual technical content starts coming up now that members are getting theirs. There have been a few good threads, but I think the site organization is working against weeding out the BS from useful information. Maybe we need a separate 2nd gen technical topics section? Seems a bit odd, but so is a separate general forum, when most everything in the technical discussion is still first gen.

Honestly is this even the main forum for the new gen?

You’d think that people would’ve gotten the hint after the 3rd Covid thread got shut down…. But some people just can’t help themselves lol

This forum does seem to be dead in some aspects. A lot of people have migrated to the FB groups which are just all sorts of awful lol. It’s just a bunch of adolescents arguing over whether their Subaru is better than a Scion and vice versa…. And a bunch of other adolescents trying to tell everybody their BC/Godspeed,Raceland coilovers ride UHHHMAYYYZIIIING!!!

I still have my Hakone but it’s been stock for most of the year. I’ve sort of grown out of doing car things over the last couple months tbh. Other priorities and interests in life now.
