Thanks Ichi that makes me feel a lot better lol figured it would be difficult to match CWP. Just hope it’s not painfully obvious. It is common, but I love the color. Thought about looking for a used bumper and also considered wrapping it, but not really worth it. Guess we’ll wait and see.

Sorry, but that’s the truth. White in general, it’s hard to paint match. If I was gonna have racing car, def go into white... but prob repaint it to pastel white, so it’s easier to match. Metallic is another one to match as well. That’s one of the reason I went w grey, so if I do need to get bumper repainted it’s not hard.

Speaking of bumper, I need to look into new bumper. Don’t call me racer, but I always like Aimgain front bumper... just don’t like the price

No I get it lol at this point, I don’t think I have a choice though. Just gotta live with it I guess. Like I said, as long it’s not THAT bad of a difference, I’ll be okay with it. Once I have the new bumper on and touch up here and there with the buff and wax, it’ll be good. Then I can move for some more exciting stuff.

Excited to also not have the front license plate drilled on. Gotta figure out an alternative way to have it displayed in the front, but I don’t think I’ll drill a new bracket on.

Are you talking about this one? http://www.aimgain.net/english/bodyk...sports/86.html

My anchors should last forever, just like my bolt-ons.

Front bumper - Aimgain - $1,800
Front diffuser - ?
Hood - MPH GT Spec carbon fiber - $1,350
Front fenders - Seibon carbon fiber 10mm wide - $1,200
Doors - MPH carbon fiber - $2,500
Side skirts - Zele Performance carbon fiber - $1,000
Roof - MPH carbon fiber - $900
Rear bumper - TRD 14R - $?
Rear spats - STI - $100
Rear diffuser - TRD 14R rear diffuser - $?. If not Ridox Rear diffuser - $650
Rear trunk - MPH duckbill carbon fiber GT Spec - $1,475
Total - $10,975

That’s parts alone... paint, labor & random parts not included.

...or save that $11k plus trade my car & get TRD86 & call it a day lol

fyi, in the instructions for those mounts, it specifically says you need to hit at least one stud.

i'm impressed that they used a 14" wide mount, and still missed all the studs!

it will work, but just so you know, about $400 of that price is going to the naming rights and web-marketing divisions.

this is a better deal for very similar acoustics.

Nope wouldn't call you a racer, but can't say I'm a fan either. Then again I just don't like that look in general on any Lexus. I wouldn't buy one for that single reason.
