I guess for the same reason I want a header and front pipe with catalytic converters. I want to change the car with mods, but whatever I change I'd like to keep things close to stock.

Do Canadians have a lot of national pride? Last time I said I put all my savings into the Wall Street casino, I bought some Blackberry and the gods of the dice were kind and I made some "good" (very little since I'm a poor college student) money. I was wondering what Canadians think of Blackberry, if anything lol. Too bad you guys don't have enough people to buy enough phones to really save them, unlike 'Muricans and our "'Murican" iPhones.

On another note, a week after I put my louder muffler on, my ears have gotten used to it and it's not so satisfying to press the gas now...I think I now understand why some people end up with their de-catted straightpipe monstrosities. One time in Berkeley there was a guy who rolls in with an R8 that was much louder than the de-mufflered sport bikes the moment he barely touched the gas to creep forward, I wonder how many tickets he gets a day.

Not happy that our government invested a lot of our pension fund into them and have been watching them start pulling stupid back-patting stuff like the two CEOs, to the current floundering state they are in now.

But generally apathetic, I think. No one I currently hang out with has one.

At least the new management seems to have slightly more sense. I think when the Z10 came out they were like "look the iPhone is a huge success, if we make something that looks like it people will buy it right?" That was pretty retarded. At least John Chen understands product differentiation and wants to keep the core business users, which at the very least should lose less money than making souped up generic smartphones.

But they invested pension funds into it? :/ I guess USA isn't so bad, the money they wasted on GM is implicitly understood to be money that comes from the printing press in the future, since the budget is way too big to close with taxes alone. Pension funds should be trying to make more money, not funding government stuff.

In Blackberry's situation all a good new management team can do now is keep it alive. At least in the short term. Apple was in a bad state in the old days, too. So who knows?

Apparently the pension fund returns around 10%, so I can't complain too loudly. They can't pick all winners.

Edit: Apparently they made ~$630M off of Skype in 2011.

I guess the politicians decided you old gramps were making too much money and should...appropriate some to finance a public cause?

Though I guess, they're thinking about raising the capital gains tax by a huge amount over here so they have the same idea :/

Eh?

This is just part of Canada's little bit of socialism. You work, they deduct a bit of money, you retire they pay a pension based on how much you worked until you die.

Right, I'm saying they're wasting pension fund money to save BB, which equates to stealing from the old. Sucks to be old in Canada.

You would see a better performance gain from adjusting the camber then lowering. And you could do it for much less money.

It's a pension fund. All pension funds are invested in hopes that the return will be enough to cover the pensioners. This investment didn't pay off, I'm sure there are others that didn't as well. Just like sme of them did pay off.

Borrowing against the future is how a country devalues their dollar.

That's gonna be subjective, read the install instructions and judge for yourself.

Instructions are one thing, work is another. I've heard of shops taking hours to install.

LCA are easy, well most would argue so.
