Not understeer, not oversteer... something else?

So, I've noticed that when cornering my car usually doesn't exactly oversteer or understeer... once grip breaks it just kind of slides sideways like it's doing both at once. It has happened on multiple sets of tires on both the autox course and the street. On the track I'm obviously pushing the car harder and on the street it typically happens when the road is just a little bit wet. My last alignment was to stock specs, but I've been meaning to have it checked and tweaked some anyway.

Has anybody else experienced this? Any recommendations on what I could do to bias the car more toward oversteer?

That's called a 4 wheel drift. Your car is perfectly neutral through the corner and slides to the outside of the corner a bit. As long as it's slight, it's a sign that your suspension is dialed in really well.

If what you think is happening is actually whats happening then you dont need to do anything, you have achieved perfect handling (4wheel drift at the limit). Now I really doubt that's the case considering stock alignment is a recipe for considerable understeer.

What else do you think a car can do once its past the limit of grips of your tires?

When your car neither understeers or oversteers it's a condition commonly referred to as "perfect". To cure the perfect condition, start throwing random untested mods at your car. Throw on things like bigger rear wheels, changing weight distribution, slam it, mess with roll bars etc- when not prooerly implemented or tested,these are all ways to cure your car of the perfect condition and allow you to modify it to a "ruined" condition.

Is the car fast and are you comfortable with the handling? Do you have any in-car video? A lot of the time people think this is happening, it's actually understeering. Not saying this is the case here, but I see it often.

That could very well be the case. I have had a few times on the track where the BRZ definitely understeered and just plowed into a corner. I'm used to understeer (at least in FWD cars) being an almost all-or-nothing feeling, so I suppose if it's only minor understeer that could be why it feels more like lateral movement.

mine does the same but it is fully stock....rather it be neutral and have the car slide evenly on all four tires rather than kicking it's tail out or plowing straight forward

Most of the time "plowing through a corner" is a driver problem, not a car problem. This car has been proven time and again to be very well balanced in its stock form. Yes, most cars are set up from the factory to be plow trucks, the Toyobaru is a different and unique beast.
