Unusual site dynamic (to me)- Deleting FS post info
I'm wondering what I'm missing about FT86club... It seems like this is the only enthusiast site I'm on where many (of course, not "all") sellers basically wipe-out any useful item information once the stuff is sold.
As I've seen someone else mention in another subtopic in this section, it's really helpful to be able to see how often various things are posted for sale. It's even better when I can gather a rough sense of prices after being closed/updated as "sold." Perhaps this deleting is common on FB (where I have no account, and spend no time). Maybe my question reveals more about my limited online presence than anything about this community, but I really don't understand the need to edit out that information. Anyone care to explain? Thank you!

i've tended to delete info to clean up a post (especially one with multiple items for sale) to
make it easier to see what's still available for sale. i'd do the whole cross out text thing but i dont know how to do that. |

I totally understand that. I've done the same. Perhaps I should have clarified how the ones which seem the most strange to me are those which had been detailed ending up with no asking price history, or more extreme, have nothing at all in the post about what it even used to be.

It's a personal preference thing, I like to put sold in the title and on the top line and leave pricing. Others feel the need to delete the price and put sold. It is not isolated to this forum, I see it a lot on other forums. I have PM'd people to ask what they listed and sold items for when they delete it for the same reason as you.
