Ain't that the truth.

About a 1/3 of it is already claimed as a "SonCave" with a 55" TV and two old recliners plus a wooden shipping box being used as a table between them. There was a bit of a turf battle going on between MomHawk who had claimed a finished room in our basement as a makeshift "yoga studio" and my two sons living at home who were used it being the "game room" when they were younger.

Part of the driving force behind me finally pulling the trigger was I was tired of them fighting over who "owned" the space and what state it needed to be in. Now, everyone is happy until next week....

I need to do some final straightening and cleanup on what is left, then I may set up some space for a flightsim I want to build and maybe set up the small scale slotcar track we have boxed up. As long as I keep the floor and walls unfinished it won't be annexed into MomHawk's nest.

I've never been one for dusting but I had a spider that was getting on my nerves so I bought a cheap duster from amazon with a giant reach and dusted every corner of my house (walls and ceilings) and the edges of all of the windows... home ownership is great they said!

Took advantage of a nice Saturday and got the front of the house done. Shout out to my wife for doing most of it while I was down all morning with Covid shot side effects.

Seems like someone just wants to build up enough posts to get into the classifieds...

Still working on the little garden! Wife joined me, which is a humongous feat for a variety of reasons.
Admittedly, digging trenches on a Friday after a long week of work wasn't my idea.
