Perrin Exhaust Vs Greddy Evo 3

Anybody have any experiences with both? I'm having a hard time deciding.

This is pretty much completely irrelevant but i was looking at both and decided on the nameless offset because it seemed like the best value and it sounds amazing. Just my two cents.

I went with Perrin because they do their research.. It's dyno-proven and the fit/finish and quality is undeniable. I got the unresonated version because I wanted a louder sound, and I honestly love my choice. The posted videos online don't give it justice, it's much different in person. Everybody that I've revved it up for has liked the sound- not too loud, not too quiet.

You have been the 2nd person who had said the sound of the perrin was a perfect tone. Do you know the DB for the perrin?

You just can't go wrong with either Nameless or Perrin. I bought Nameless.

I've heard the Perrin resonated cat-back in person and I think it sounds perfect IMO, or at least it will once it has a header and front pipe/overpipe installed. The resonated one I think might get too loud with a full exhaust. I haven't heard the GReddy one but I'm leaning towards the Perrin mainly because it looks just as good if not better than the GReddy, I like that it uses v-band connectors, and they also make the header and front pipe/overpipe so I can do a full exhaust system from one company and know that it all works together.

perrin is quality. they've proved it for years. greddy, however, i'm sure are quality as well so really its just sound preference. but isnt greddy known to be a bit fart cannon sounding? idk

do you need both front pipe and over pipe or is it one or the other?

They are separate pieces. The overpipe goes over the front subframe and the front pipe goes between it and the cat-back section. ($1,690 for a full catted system, without a header? note to self: start saving )

sounds like the way i will start going. at least the exhaust will work with the stock pipes for now.

The Perrin design just seems so plain and uninspired. Greddy doesn't disappoint - the Evo3 looks and sounds great. Power gains are a split between the 2.

Anyone who thinks Greddy doesn't research their products is grossly mistaken. Most of their audience and R&D just happens to be in Japan and elsewhere overseas.

I got the Evo3 and absolutely love it. I think it's more based on personal taste. I liked the sound of the Evo3. I will admit it does have some drone to it, but you can hold a normal conversation with the radio off, and you don't have to pump up the volume to hear music. However I have really only heard a drone while cruising on the highway.
