In the den of course. Silly foreigners.

Yeah... that's bad design IHMO. I have an old field barn up in the hills where they shoveled cow shit out of a hatch about 20" wide, 15" tall. no ledge, flush with the floor. Fell into a cart outside.
In the last 50 years or so it's served mostly as a convenient entrance for foxes, owls, marten and other critters in need of shelter.
The bats and the mice don't bother, they have plenty openings to chose from. It's always fun to open the door and walk in there, especially at night.
If it's cold and rainy, it's like a tiny wildlife preserve in there :-)

EDIT: Fixed my dimensions. Trying to be cool and use imperial measurements. Not going too great.

Thanks! It has been a really fun art project. The only thing I have purchased for it has been the comfy chairs. Everything else I had previously collected or has been given to me.

The building behind my shed is my 16' x 24' wood shop. I also have a 7'x7' rubermaid garden shed for all my gas powered tools, rakes, shovels, etc.

Ah, so you're fully equipped and under cover. A man of caliber.

Had to go back and look at your shed there again. Twice. I can see how much fun you must have had doing that. It looks relaxed and a happy place to have a beer :-)

What I got from the collection was that there was some poor trucker loaded with explosives that couldn't find highway 31.

Yeah... it was tough. And it's nothing like it is now. I'm in IT, reasonably well paid for being significantly undervalued, and my wife makes now than I do... And we couldn't live on just my salary if I were paid what I think I'm worth (given things, probably well below reality). No kids to add to the costs.

Meanwhile, our CEO makes over 400 times what I do. In other words, I make less in a year than he does in a day.

Sigh.

Sigh.
The baby boomers worked real hard but little did they realize that their kids generation would have nothing in return while working even harder.

I'm currently working at probably the lowest paid IT dept and yet we are also the ones keeping the lights on for the entire company.

Then again at least I'm not spending an equiv. of $1 million just to buy a 380 sq. ft apartment suite like people back home.

Next weekend you'll change that from 'quality' to 'wasted' ... and you may be exploring an alternative meaning to 'wasted time' as a result.

Or so I've heard...
