I assume you're a young guy since you say you are still in school. Give TD insurance a try. You can get a free quote online.

I'm 23 (so still in the high insurance zone) and I have a clean record. I pay $240 a month for my insurance.

I bet TD would be better no matter what... After getting my quote I told my parents and the immediately switched and they are saving something like $200 a month. Give it a try!

TD is who I always use as well. And for some reason, I'm even cheaper. 23, and a minor ticket on record, and my rates around around 130/month, or 190/month if I ADD(ie, as a second car) an FR-S.

However, he did say he has an accident and no driving history, so that definitely doesn't help.

Ya TD is great. I forgot to mention that I am in the GTA which is probably the reason for the higher rate

My Golf TDI has a mark like that on the leftside except the bumber is actually still in its bowed position from where it was nudged by some unknown object. I was quoted $545 to fix it but I never followed through. Seemed reasonable.

Definintely got bumped.

Get some empty big gulp cups, paint them a bright color, find an empty parking lot and learn where the corners of your car are... Either that or find a new place to park cause someone's a jerk. Going to be a couple hundred bucks to repaint that, and I see you have the bumper protector so factor that in. If you have collision forgiveness (first bump won't raise your rates), I'd just file a claim.
