I was thinking the same thing. More power the better. Im not scared of relocation. I just really want to know if the alternator could keep up with all of it.

You got a lot of good answers on this point but I'd like to also mention that as soon as you begin to close the throttle, the compressor begins to shut down. By the time the throttle is closed the compressor is stopped or producing so little pressure that it is insignificant.

With that said, I would not employ launch control or flat foot shifting in your tune because of the potential for excess pressure with a closed throttle. .

It will be fine as long as you don't run full ac + rear defrost + dual recharge + your stereo at max volume lol

Interesting! Thanks for the detail. Why did you choose to do that, verses e.g. venting to atmosphere?

Ill be fine with the single starter batt or the relocation? I had to get a more powerful alternator in my maxima when I relocated.

The only thing that might limit you is the size of the starter battery. There isn't a while lot of capacity there.

The stock alternator is actually quite good in the frs though.

Yea, 130 amps is pretty impressive for this car. Any recommendations for the type of relocated battery? Im also wondering if I should I power the stereo from the relocated batt or the starter battery. Hmmm configuration options...

The starter battery is the one you relocate. Most people just use the stock battery.

Cool, so let me get this straight before I spend money. In my proposed instance the entire car will be running off of the starter battery in the trunk except the esc. The esc is run solely off of the two smaller batts in the front. Can I use the extra space in the front for more power to the esc?

Yes you can run twice as much lead if you relocate the battery to the back.

If I relocate the stock battery to the trunk, do i need to put it in a sealed box that vents to the outside, or is that not necessary anymore?

If it's a sealed battery you do not need to vent. A battery box is always a good idea.

This is where AGM batteries shine... and what they were really developed for.

Has anyone experimented at all powering the esc with lithium batteries?
