No. My mom sold it back in '85-ish. I seriously considered buying it back about 12 years ago but I just couldn't bring myself to take on the responsibility.

Oh, OK, since it was a tandem, two seater, I guess you could have taken the front seat out and flown it from the back seat -

Do you have to have an expansion tank? When the HVAC guys put in my new water heater (got that thrown in with the deal) they put an expansion tank in the plumbing on top. I asked them what it was since I'd never seen one in California. They said it was code here in Idaho.

My wife's Father, who she lost when she was around 13, rebuilt a Cessna 170 and they used to go flying in it. It was sold a couple of times after his death and ended up in Victoria, TX. I've tried to buy it a couple of times, but the owner won't give it up.

Well they exist if you have a closed system

"California Plumbing Code Section 608.3 requires an expansion tank to be installed on the water heater when it is a closed system. A closed system is one that has a check valve, or backflow prevention device"

Actually, the plane is designed to be piloted from the second seat for weight distribution. My father learned to fly in a friends Taylor Cub, NC15622 out of Warren PA.
My parents along with the planes owners in front of the then new, (now long gone) Warren Airport hanger. (see: http://www.airfields-freeman.com/PA/Airfields_PA_NW.htm)

I've been fixing sprinklers yesterday and today. Seems like a never ending job, plus the tree guys ran over a couple with their stump grinder. I think I finally found something I hate more than painting.

When I first got out of the army I worked for a sprinkler company. For about a week. Wasn't worth it!

Sprinkler Guy was the one I was doing the COVID Handshake shuffle with last week. We hadn't used ours in several years but just laid down some new sod so wanted to get them checked. Money well spent.

Still chasing gremlins in my '04 Suburban's electrical wiring.

Thought we had the issue licked except for the driver's side seat warmer that would come on by itself as if possessed. Finally got around to replacing the door switch which is usually the cause.

Nope not the issue. Decided to drive it to work today, and disconnected the door switch. It STILL comes on at random times. Doing some interweb searching I found a couple of cases where people have had it come on when the car is parked and the key is off and safely in the house. I was going to pull the fuse on it, but its the "IGN 3" fuse which says "Ignition, Heated Seats".

If I wanted electrical issues I would have bought an old MG or a Jag

I've seen some really dumb stuff since I've been involved with land vehicle design. Disappointed but not surprised.

And by "involved," I mean IT support, not actual design. I've slept much better since adding that degree of separation.
