350whp
So I'm completely new to this I have a 2015 scion frs completely stock except the wheels which I may change soon and the fact the owner before me cut out the grille weight reduction I guess. Anyways I use to always hear my brother brag about his 300whp Acura RSX type S which is actually pretty impressive and fun to drive minus the stage 3 clutch anyways in a effort to beat his car and overall throw it in his face that my car is sexier and faster than his. What would I have to add to make my frs hit around 300-350?

I don't know much about turbo kits for these cars as I never plan on going FI. I'm sure someone else will chime in soon enough to answer any FI questions you may have. Personally I'd go with an Edelbrock supercharger since that brand is known quality and dates back to the beginning of time. I'm also just a fan in general of those type of FI systems. Mmmmm.. the flat torque curve.

Here you go.
https://www.86speed.com/products/jdl...turbo-gtx.html JDL UEL Turbo kit, This one I'm assuming has the GTX2860. If you really wanna embarrass your brother, E85 Flex Fuel kit Get injectors and pump from whatever your tuner recommends, usually DW700 but the new trend now is ID1050x E85 can get you to 350-400whp easily depending on how crazy you wanna go. |

Factor in a potential engine rebuild for that power too.

If you don't have much to afford, the SBD 500x with e85 at 10 psi will easily beat the RSX.
$3k + installation + tune. |

Turbo plus other supporting mods such as clutch and etc... Not cheap. The general rule of thumb for street turbo setup is cost of turbo times 2 for the supporting mods and tune.
Don't get stuck on the numbers of "350". The video below is probably around 270whp on a Mustang dyno (likely 300 on Dynopack). Judge for yourself if this is around the power you want. I personally don't want anymore power than this for the longevity of my motor. I drive most often running far less boost, only adding more boost and better fuel for the race track. |

This is probably the worst reason to go FI I have ever heard.
The numbers game at it's very best. Got an extra $10k kicking around? Something tells ma not. If you do I look forward to the "is this totalled?" Thread to come.
