Looking to boost my 2017 BRZ Limited

I am looking to boost my 2017 brz and was wondering what the best kit was either turbo or supercharger to achieve around 315-350HP. Also what are the first supporting mods I should do with it.

Oh boy. Before they strike you dead. JDL, Ptuning, Maperformance, Full Blown etc.. for turbo. For SC Jackson racing, and some others. Just read through the force induction section bro. No one kit it's the best. The kit that is more accustomed to you're budget and needs is what is best.

Peace. Before lighter and torches come your way.

With a supercharger your gearbox, due to lower torque should be good.

Wirh a turbo, which makes more torque your gearbox may be the weak link.

Good luck, and do lots of research.

Also, budget for twice the amount you intend to spend, and then double that if you want credible reliability.

They will blow your engine.
A turbo is best.
A supercharger is the only way to go.
your clutch will smoke.
Transmission will scatter.
You will shoot your eye out kid!

I think I covered most. We can close the thread now!

Edelbrock would be good for your stated needs....maybe?? Idk.... but using a tool called "google" helps.

I think it's new, but if you type in questions you can get answers and scan through a lot of useful information!

It depends on what your goals are.
Are you wanting more top end power? More torque down low? The ability to change your hp level on the fly? The 315hp-350hp is that wheel hp you are looking for or crank? What is your goal for how long you want the engine to last?

Find a few kits that you are interested in and join their Facebook groups. It will give you more info than you should need to determine power ratings, issues/problems and more importantly, support by both the manufacturer and the community. More people post in those groups than they do here with questions about their specific kits.

****Find a tuner!!!!!! Once you land on what kit you are purchasing, find a tuner that is very familiar with the platform AND your setup. Talk with them about your power goals and what they recommend as supporting mods.

You may lunch your engine and drive train.

Supporting mods for reliability = built engine and drivetrain and, ummmm, other stuff.

Your googling would have all the info, hence after my googling I'm staying NA whilst I have a 86, or until I win the lottery that is.
