2.34% is fine on regular fuel (non-ethanol). Stock wasn't even that good for me.

Gather I don't use the 98 scale on E85? |

There's really not a MAF rescale out here for the injen short ram intake anywhere or a directory on the front page of this guide? This VGI tool is being difficult. I can't even copy/paste the results into RomRaider from the logs.
EDIT: MAF scales for INJEN and TRD image attached but it'd probably be quicker to use the VGI tool than to hand jam these numbers. Can't attach excel files .

Did you ever get the MAF scaling for the Injen CAI? My BRZ came used with one so I don't have the OEM intake. I bought an OFT and flashed the Stage 1 tune, but I'd like to try and get the scaling in. |

Would these numbers work for a Stage 1 tune? I'm running an INJEN on my BRZ and want to flash the Stage 1. |

Looking at the beginning of this thread I downloaded the AFE Tekada table as that’s the intake I have. I copied the info into my MAF scaling table and that should be it, correct? Also, I’m currently waiting on a grams 72mm throttle body, can I use this tool after I install the throttle body to scale for the new throttle body, or do I even need to?

TBH, probably easier to just not install the throttle body. The MAF scaling shouldn't be much different, but your throttle mapping will be well out.

Well if you want more aggressive throttle then no. Do you swap over the TPS from the OEM to the Grams? If not, you may need to change the voltage that triggers the various CELs (but you may not if genuine Plug and Play). But seeing as there is nothing to be gained by fitting one.... unless you're boosted perhaps I guess.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, some may already have been aware but in Techstream there are 4 learning ranges (idle rpm, low rpm, middle rpm and high rpm) for each injector sets. With OBD Fusion and the extended PIDs you can see these values.
Some have hypothesized previously that these are the learning ranges and I was trying to find a method to know if the trims have been fully learnt. I cleared CELs to force the trim to reset, and went on a quick 15min drive to get some food. When the clear CEL was done the learning values were zero, and during the drive the values slowly picked up. This indicates some form of trim learning has been done but I've no idea whether if it's completed. Top row are port injectors, and bottom rows are DI injectors. Idle, low, middle and high rpm go from left to right. Last edited by Compelica; 02-16-2021 at 08:18 AM. Reason: clarity |

Hmm thats interesting. The ecu can work out misfire by measuring the acceleration of the crankshaft after each cylinder fires, no acceleration it assumes misfire. Im wondering how it would work out the learning for individual cylinder port and direct injectors since it only has one 02 sensor measuring comosite of all cylinders on a stock header but on many aftermarket its in one cylinder runner. |
