One of the odd things about the shape of the new BRZ bumper, is the cutoff line for the grille. Maybe not, but I'd say it's not bad.
Here is a very shitty 10 second render in paint that shows what I mean.
I can imagine this car will look pretty good in black, as many cars often do.
Personally, I like the slim BRZ grill opening as it is, prefer that to painting the bottom lip black to make it look bigger/taller. Not a fan of all of the hyuge gaping maw grill openings on many modern cars. 228hp doesn't need a big opening.

Me neither in that sense. It's more that I still have not adapted to the odd shape of it. I'm usually very lenient and enjoy a good style, and this just hasn't hit that spot for me yet. So I'm mostly tending to those that feel the same as I do, I guess. It also removes and/or changes the "smile" that so many folks seem to despise (I personally don't mind it). Otherwise, agreed, I am not a fan of modern grille styles like on the Lexus that are overly large.

Probably the most realistic looking take on the Toyota front bumper.

I'm somewhat underwhelmed...i think it looks better but it also looks very derivative...its got a very generic sports car look to it.
But at the same time it looks like a soft evolution of the pre-facelist FRS/86 grille.

Honestly, if the production car looks anything like that it's a HR - simple and elegant. Can't really go wrong with either!

I might have to change my mind on getting a BRZ instead.

Some new content on Hagerty.

First time I've heard a journalist state that there will be engine noise pumped in through speakers (as in the GR Yaris).
