Need some help on some wheels

First time buying wheels so I’m kinda lost. I found some enkei rs7 17x7 et42. The bolt pattern is 5x100 but the bore is 72.6 so I need some hub centric rings right? Also the guy said the stock lug nuts won’t fit so I need some skinner ones. Do they make those?

You don't NEED hubcentric rings. The lug nuts center the wheels with their conical base. I cant speak to the use of OEM nuts, but unless the 19mm socket doesn't fit in the bore, then I'm not sure why you'd need different nuts.

From what I have red you need an aftermarket lugnuts. As for the hubcentric ring I would get them just to be safe they only cost 10$.

Why 17x7? Why not 17x8? Or 17x9?

I would also suggest a lower offset. Like +30 or +35 This will make your wheels flush and give you room for: 225/45/17 or 235/40/17 or 245/40/17 tires.

Hubcentric rings are inexpensive. IMO, they are worth getting. Our hub bore is 56.1mm

OEM conical lug nuts work on most aftermarket wheels. They are not spherical OEM nuts like honda's have.

I’m fine with a 17x7, I don’t like that super wide look in the back and I like how it rides now. Plus I don’t need to buy new tires. The guy had a brz and test fit them on but said the oem nuts wouldn’t let him tighten all the way.

I just looked, and the RS7 is a dual bolt pattern wheel. IMO they won't look as good as single bolt pattern wheels.

I imagine you are getting a killer deal on them used though.

Anyway, I would suggest getting some gorilla tuner style lug nuts; They are inexpensive, will work fine, and come in an array of cool colors. They are steel; great for many on/off cycles. Get ones with this spec. 12x1.25

I can get some covers that will hide the bolt holes. The guy will let them go for 250 in really good condition. I’ll look into those gorilla lug nuts.
