All these other issues people have reported i have none of those, car is great and i love it and people always try to race me and have to always show off if they see me. So how about all of you guys?
I also bought a '15 FRS new in March 2015. On its birthday, my mileage was 120,120 (i.e. 30K miles per year). Lightly modded; DD, AutoX, and spirited driving; no issues.

Didn't really investigate the 2nd time, but its common minor issue with most of the earlier FRS/BRZs, don't recall the newer ones having it. Some videos out there addressing it and a few threads on here regarding it. Mine isn't too loud these days that I often forget about it...leading to me not investigating it. Like most modern cars, some form of padding is likely going to solve it, so long as the padding is in the correct area.

What's causing it? Likely to do with the tolerances in the build particularly with plastic. The only way I determined it was the parcel shelf or sometimes called rear deck is it got louder when I folded down the rear seats. Something there is allowing it to move slightly as I drive over bumpy roads. With the seats up it appears to move a lot less.

I removed the plastic child safety latch covers and in a limited test that seems to have stopped the noise. Those covers just sit on top and don't really snap into place.

Thanks for the info, guys!

1 year and 60'000 clicks on it later; she's reliable as ever. Only thing that I hate is how delicate the paint is, costing me more in cosmetic maintenance than everything else.

I money shift it, but it ran for 2 years after that, including track days. I'm guessing it caused a small damage that got worse over time?

I did a 2 to 1 upshift on the track. Lucky for me (i guess...) it was on an uphill into a turn so i was off throttle and I didn't fully release the clutch as I realized my mistake. It still over rev, car ran fine for years until I heard it knocking one day lol

God I wish my 86 had a bigger tank. I’m filling the bloody thing twice a week, and I’m only doing 1000km.
