Most likely an issue with the BCM.

I ran into on my previous car...my lights stayed on..all my dash lights stayed on, my keys didn't work, couldn't lock the doors except physically, trunk wouldn't open at all.

Technicians did a PIN test on the vehicle.

Took 2 days to diagnose it...it was an issue with the BCM. Flashed BCM and tada...fixed.

To my understanding:

ECU - controls all engine related tasks (EX: A/F Ratio)
BCM - controls all vehicle body related tasks

I'm confused. It was spelt correctly. You might want to learn punctuation and capitalisation.

You might also want to do a course or two in vehicle electrics before you fry another one retro fitting dodgy electrics and fecking it up.

The lesson, BTW, is: If you going to feck about with your car do it when you are at home! Or better yet, don't do it if you don't understand it, get someone that knows what they are doing to do it.

Sounds really weird. Let us know what the dealership says about it!

I don't understand why you towed the vehicle though. why not just drive it? Unless it was night which I don't think you specified.

It's an auto it wouldn't go into gear. And it was at night my headlights won't turn--

Agree. They seem very sensitive to shorts and other unexpected electrical issues (not sure if surge would also do it, probably though.)

I had a battery short out internally on a previous car, dealer insisted on trying to jump it. All the internal electronics were on the fritz, flashing like crazy and they wanted me to just go home! I refused, pointed out the issue, so they said "oh, well, let's check the battery." It was bad... Two weeks later my horn decided to start randomly honking. Right in the middle of Chicago rush-hour traffic (i.e. no one was moving.) BCM had to be replaced.

Not if you're English. Check out the OED; either spelling is acceptable.

I think the lesson he was referring to is :

Dont fuck with the electrical system in a modern car because all that shit is tied together.
Even some light modules and door switches are tied into the OBD computer system.

And if you want help, learn some manners.
I would have gladly helped you out, but based on your comments I think you're just a *&^%&.
